Not Quite That Famous... Yet.

Last year on New Years Eve, my church held it's first annual Destiny's Got Talent show. When it was first announced, I knew that I would sing Time to Say Goodbye sung by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. I found this song during the previous summer and instantly loved it. It's in Italian.

And I won first place!! (out of 18 people) It was so much fun. See my nice big trophy c:
And I love dressing up and singing, especially in a language I don't speak. hehe.

Any way, so this year I am entering in this talent show again. My goal is to give a better performance than I gave last year. Therefore, I need an awesome song. Here is where I have a problem. I have absolutely no idea what I should sing. I was thinking about singing something from Josh Groban. You know how much I love him. I was thinking Solo Por Ti which is in spanish (link)or The Prayer which is a duet (link).

But my brother says that I should sing some thing new, something fresh, but he has no suggestions.
My boyfriend thinks I should sing the song from the movie The American Tail: Fieval Goes West (link) but I can't help but think about the little squeaky mouse. I don't really want to sound like that.

Anyways, I was hoping you guys could help me with a song decision. :D

I really would like to sing in another language. Something pretty. Like Italian or Spanish. I could even do Russian.
I like the opera/pop. If that genre exists. lol. Vocally songs like movie themes or soundtracks.
I like Phantom of the Opera stuff as well. Or anything written by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I need all the suggestions I can get.
Thanks

This is from a video game, but sung with the right voice, it can really move people. Simple basic English but it was translated from Japanese.

Ave Maria seems to be popular to exploit this year so you could try that as well.

Thanks HektikLyfe! I will have to listen to that song when I get home as I am on the school computers now. Also, Ave Maria (if I remember correctly) is similar to what I did last year and I think I want to do something different.

HektikLyfe: I listened to Ave Maria and really like it! I also found a version that Beyonce did that is beautiful. I still don't know what I'm going to do yet but thanks for the suggestions.
